Get to Know Us

Kristen Roberson is a Graduate Writing Coach with a B.A. in English and a minor in professional writing. She has worked as a writing tutor for nearly four years and has experience assisting writers from all levels, backgrounds, and disciplines. Additionally, she co-runs the Writers and Warlocks club to engage students in improvisational and collaborative storytelling while having fun with Dungeons and Dragons. Her academic interests include studying and practicing how writing genres can be combined or cross-applied, editing at all levels, and participating in writing conferences. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing digital and traditional fantasy art, and hiking.

 

Courtney Chester is a Graduate Writing Coach with a B.A. in History and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Professional Writing. Her academic pursuits include historical research, game writing, screenwriting, and fiction writing. She hopes to make writing and the art of storytelling more accessible and appealing to those that have been traditionally underrepresented. She is also currently a member of Kennesaw State University’s Game Narrative Lab which aims to study how video games generate empathy in players. Outside of her academic career, Courtney enjoys playing video games, learning new languages, and reading fantasy novels.
